Dr Booth is a Clinical-Academic Neurological Physiotherapist working alongside public contributors and colleagues from the University and NUH NHS Trust to realise the research ambition of this nationally important programme. In 2009, she was one of the first cohort of NIHR-funded Master's Fellowships, and was the first Physiotherapist at NUH to be awarded a prestigious clinical-academic post-doctoral fellowship with the NIHR (2020-23). She is also an Associate Professor at UoN with a special interest in realist research methods. Her research has covered Nordic walking, virtual reality, rehabilitation to rejoin employment, and exercise for people with dementia.
