Who needs us?

Modern medicine helps more people survive increasingly serious injuries, trauma and illness. That in turn means there are more people needing rehabilitation, often from more serious events that they may not have survived a few years ago. They need us.

Better rehabilitation means people can get back to work and other activities more quickly. It means they - and their families - will have a better life and contribute to society and to the economy. They need us, too.

The UK is a leader in the medical technology industry. But its 4,000 companies and £21bn revenue is overwhelmingly made up of small and medium sized businesses without the infrastructure for expensive development cycles. They need our support in developing their resources and capacity.
